Co-founded the company, set product direction and built the full stack. To get something real in front of students quickly, I cut assignment editing and user profiles out of the launch scope and shipped the rubric grading flow first, six weeks ahead of the original roadmap.
The checker is used by more than 100 students across 5+ schools, and 21% come back to check a second assignment. Usage data from the first 30 students shaped the pre-seed pitch, which closed $50K for 5% equity at a $1M post-money valuation.
